Job Details:
Valley hauls mostly farm equipment and construction equipment.
We have an agreement with Caterpillar and do a lot of John Deere equipment.
About 75% of our loads are over dimensional.
New drivers typically start with a step deck and move to an RGN when they are ready(waiting list).
We have a ‘no pet’ policy. Zero tolerance!
We ask our drivers to be out 3-4 weeks at a time with a day home for each week that you are out.
Valley has a rider policy, age 10 and over. 90 day wait-$200 per year for permit.
Valley has been using ‘E-Log’ for over three years. We use the PeopleNet System.
Driver Qualifications:
Meets all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications (which includes, but are not limited to, FMCSR part 391).
Has a valid Commercial Driver License with proper endorsements in state of residence and has no current license suspension or revocation. A work permit is never acceptable. (See FMCSR parts 383 and 391).
Valley requires all of its drivers to have a TWIC card(Transportation Workers Identification Card)
Has no conviction for a "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) years. (See FMCSR parts 382, 391, 392 and 397) A "serious or disqualifying traffic violation"
