Local CDL-A Yard Driver:

• Start at $25 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Shift differential pay up to $1 per hour - dependent on schedule
• Weekly pay

Non-CDL Yard Auditor:

• Start at $19 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Shift differential pay up to $1 per hour

Requirements:

Local CDL-A Yard Driver:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Safe driving and FMCSA Clearinghouse record
• Acceptable background check
• Experience operating tractor-trailers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift

Non-CDL Yard Auditor:

• Acceptable background check
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Local CDL-A Yard Driver:

What to Expect:

• Home daily with a consistent schedule
• Limited road driving or highway traffic
• No-touch freight
• No customer deliveries or multi-stop routes
• Steady, repeatable work in one location
• Predictable hours and reliable pay

Job Duties:

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
• Perform drop and hook operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation

Non-CDL Yard Auditor - Job Duties:

• Apply your knowledge of transportation
• Verify records on incoming shipments
• Log shipments into the computer
• Document preparation
• Troubleshoot and correct problems
• Record shipment data
• Compare shipment contents to manifest, invoice, or order forms
• Report any discrepancies to accounting
• Inspect trailer temperatures
• Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers
• Dispatch moves to drivers
• Examine product and work to verify conformance to specifications
• Accurately maintain records
