Pay:
- Drivers Average $88,500 Annually
- Average $1,600 - $1,800/week based on experience
- $20 Saturday pay as scheduled
- Daily minimum pay when in training!
- $25- Self Washout at Simplot
- $20 per load which covers loading and unloading: Wait time at unlading $12/hr after 30 minutes
- Holiday pay $150 based on driver availability
- Breakdown Pay $12/hr for up to 8 hours
Benefits:
- $3,000 Sign On Bonus
- *($500 at 30 days, $750 at 3 months, $750 at 6 months and $1,000 at 12 months)

- Simplified Orientation: Starts online and concludes at your local terminal
- Up to a $3,100 bonus per driver referral:
- $50 every week of your referred driver's first year
- $500 bonus when your referred driver hits 3-months
Route:
- More than Driving: the job requires coordinating load info with the plants, dispatch, and feed lots; drivers must also ensure the safe, humane handling of livestock.
- Daily Home Time
- Work Week: Monday - Friday with Saturday rotation (will be told ahead of time)
- Shift times vary depending on plant schedule (usually early morning loading 2am)
- Loading locations: Malta, ID; Idaho Falls, ID; Grand View, ID; Parma, ID; Fort Morgan CO; Torrington, WY; Scottsbluff, NE; Nyssa, OR; Wheatland, WY
- Hiring Area: 30 mile radius of Hyrum terminal
- Trucks are 18 speed
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- CDL-A with 1 year of tractor trailer experience
- Must have 53' tractor trailer experience
- Mentor programs are available for drivers with less than a year of experience
- Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Certification required. JBS Carriers will help the driver get certified if driver doesn’t have a current certification.
- Some livestock hauling experience or tanker preferred
