Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience required
• This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen

Responsibilities:

• Move trailers in and out of doors at a sausage plant
• Backing and tight-maneuvering intensive position in a standard daycab, not a spotter tractor
• Yard management including reporting fuel levels, ensuring loaded trailers are functioning properly, communicating with the plant and dispatch to facilitate loading and unloading of company trailers
• Maintain fuel levels in loaded trailers by pulling trailers to a nearby fuel stop as needed
• Facilitating trailer washouts by positioning trailers on the customer lot for third-party washout vendor
• May occasionally be required to drive as far as 2.5 hours from Arnold, PA to recover plant deliveries as needed within their hours of service
• Driver will need to commute daily as the truck cannot be taken home
